Compose

Buttons are the critical elements that users use to navigate from page to page and for you to collect and save user data. For more information about how interactions work and the purpose of buttons within interactions, visit our getting started with mobile interactions page.

How to add a button

To add a button to your app, select "add new element" from the Compose page.

From the add new element menu select "Button" from the "Input" section.

Once you've selected button, you can adjust the button settings using the below menu items: 

• Action Name: This is the name you can use for your button internally. It helps to name buttons to stay organized and for easy access when you work with multiple buttons and interactions.
• Label: Your button's label is the caption your button will display to users when they interact with your app. If your button is an action button for example you can use "Click here" or "Continue."
• Width: Select either full or non full width (full width will span the entire page).
• Required Fields: If you have other items on your page that are required (such as with a survey app), you can select required fields to require a user to complete the fields before moving forward by clicking your button.
• Style: select your button color (blue, white, orange, or green)

Once you've input these options select "Add Button" to insert it on your page.

Managing Elements

Mousing over an element will highlight the element area. Use the pencil icon to edit or remove that particular element. You can also use the arrow icons to move an element up or down on a page. Click on the orange plus sign to add a new element to a page.
