INPUT ELEMENTS TIPS

How to add date & time input fields:
To add a new date and/or time input, select the "add new element" box from the Compose page.

Select either "Date field," "Time field," or "Date time field" from the elements pop-up menu. Below we've outlined the basics of each option:
Date field: enables you to collect only date information from your users.

Time field: enables you to collect only time information from your users.

Date Time field: enables you to collect both date and time information from your users.

Within each of the date and time editing panes, you edit the information you'd like to collect. Though these elements collect slightly different information, the menu inputs are very similar. The below explains the function of each item:
- Name: Name your field, note this will only be visible to you, while editing the app.
- Caption: this is what your users will see when they use your app, you can prompt them to enter date/time information using this caption.
- Required: enable to require users to enter date/time information before proceeding to the next interaction page.

Once you've adjusted and input each of the menu items select "Add date field" to save your data field to your app page. Great job! Once you've saved the field it will appear on your page similarly to the image below.
